The Locarno International Filmefest has rebranded itself by dropping the term “international” with new initiatives such as a ‘Locarno Kids’ section and a ‘Youth Advisory Board’.

The Locarno Film Festival, to be held on August 2-12, will have French film director Olivier Assayas as the main jury’s head to evaluate the entries for this year.
